The Embassy of Denmark Visits Water and Sanitation projects in Bogra

A Mid-term Review of water supply activities implemented by the Barind Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA) was undertaken by the Fund for Hygiene, Water Supply and Sanitation (HYSAWA). The Embassy of Denmark participated in the workshop and visited different sites around Bogra on 10 and 11 February.

Danish Company SmokeSolution enters into a Joint Venture with Hatil Complex
The Danish company SmokeSolution has established a joint venture with Hatil Complex Ltd, a local Bangladeshi partner. The JV will produce smoke cabins in Bangladesh and yesterday an agreement was signed with the Danida B2B Programme for financial support for the project to carrying out technical training and implementation of CSR activities. An approval ceremony took place at the Danish Embassy where all partners signed the agreement. (February 11, 2010)
